Help us tell the story by being a part of it!

a small group of West Virginians shaping how Vibrant and Inclusive faith, place, and story meet.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re 18 to 30, have graduated high school, and live in or have roots in West Virginia or Appalachia. We hoping for a mix of perspectives on faith.

You could fall into any of the following categories:

  • You go to church regularly. A congregation is part of your life.

  • You’re church-adjacent. You’d call yourself Christian, but you don’t have a church home, or you show up rarely.

  • You’re church-curious. You’re not sure what you believe, but you’re open to the conversation.

  • You’re church-skeptical. You don’t identify as Christian, but you’re open to the conversation, and you’re okay with a little discomfort and a lot of honesty. Questions, doubts, and disagreements are welcome.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Complete a short survey each quarter about stories, spirituality, and community

  • Give us feedback on our workshops, events, and media

  • Join a Cohort check-in and focus group at the annual Festival at Peterkin

  • Be a part of something amazing!

WHAT YOU’LL GET

  • Early access to registration for storytelling workshops and live events

  • A subscription to everything we publish: the magazine, the podcast, and short films

  • FREE MERCH!

  • Lodging for the full weekend at our annual Progressive Christian Storytelling & Arts Festival at Camp Peterkin

  • The opportunity to be a part of an amazing multi-year storytelling project!

  • “...I've learned that almost more than anything, stories hold us together."
